Sarah and Dmitriy had their beautiful wedding at the Homestead Resort near Park City, Utah on Sunday, September 11th, 2011. It was a warm summer’s day and the setting was one of the most gorgeous I have even seen since coming to the USA. I felt like I was back in Africa, the landscape was so green, exotic and tranquil. The bride and groom ran the 100 mile Wasatch race the day before, which is an unbelievable distance to cover the day before your wedding. Needless to say, Sarah and Dmitriy were filled with excitement and love was definitely in the air. They have been together over 7 years and are still completely besotted with each other. We couldn’t get them to stop kissing, thank goodness for color-stay lipstick! Sarah wanted a look that was very natural and organic. I decided to go for peachy and warm brown colors for her look, and her hair was curled to frame her beautiful face.
The first toast of the evening was made to the newly weds. After the first shot of vodka, the guests began to scream “Gorko” which means “bitter” and the couple had to kiss (for a very very long time) to remove the taste of the vodka. Let’s just say that was the word of the night, and the couple were kissing at every chance. It was the sweetest thing!!
I wish Sarah and Dmitriy a lifetime of honeymooning, long kisses and falling in love over and over again!
